I thought the parade was great today!! It was a beautiful day, lots of involvement and lots of by-standers! It got my group in the Christmas spirit! Every year it gets bigger and better and I will continue to support it. I think the parade route is much better than the old parade route. Plenty of parking and easy access…. Job well done! The floats were awesome. How about a marching band next year????

JAYSON IS RIGHT ON TARGET. AS MISS FRAN WOULD SAY “PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS” HELP IN THE EFFORT. STOP FUSSING ABOUT IT’S NOT LONG ENOUGH OR THEY DON’T DO THIS OR THAT. IF YOU HAVE NOT HELPED WITH CASH OR GIFTS OR WHAT EVER JUST BE THERE SAT. AND ENJOY. SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SO QUICK TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE EFFORT OF THE FOLKS UP HERE WHO DO GIVE.

4 wheelers are allowed if pulling a float or trailer. We are trying to be responsible in protecting other people property. If you would like to put your inputs or help with next year parade please call one of the numbers list above. There is a some group of people that try to bring a little bit of Christmas spirt to the community each year. We could always use more insight and participation in planning and involvment of the parade. Most people don’t understand what it takes to carry out this little event. We are trying our best and any help is greatly needed. Merry Christmas

Yes I agree with Molino Mama, anyone and every group that would like to participate should be allowed, they are part of the communitee too…also this parade begins at crabtree church rd. since when was that in Molino, that is Barrineau Park, perhaps to make it all inclusive the parade could have a new name……….. with all due respect, many folks want to think of it all as Molino, however many Barrineau Park folks are proud of their Barrineau Park too……………After all these years it seems that we could use some more organizations here besides Molino Historical Society, Barrineau Park Historical Society, and there would be more activities in our area instead of everyone having to trapse off to Pensacola for holiday activities.. With all due respect, there are many many “old familys” here that seem to forget there are Many Many newer families with great talents and would love to be included in preparations for events too……..think about it, we have Fourth of July, Veterans Day, and many many other special dates that could be celebrated as a community…Perhaps it would help bring some folks from outlying areas to participate too…………

Everyone should support their community, however it would be beneficial if more people were involved in the creation of these events, we have many folks here who have knowledge and experience with preparing events, however while only a few folks are privy to preparations, we can not develope our community to its fullest….

Unfortunately it appears, although it may not truly be the case, that a handful of citizen wish to control what little we do have here in this community…….sad……..that is one reason we have so little participation in events here…..

I agree with MolinoMomma, why should motorcycles and golf carts be allowed and no 4wheelers. Motorcycles the majority of the time are louder than 4wheelers are. That could easily provoke a dangerous situation for the riders.

The “Molino Christmas Parade” is SOMETHING-alright! It is Caring & Sharing at Christmas Time! It doesn’t matter if the parade is a mile long or five miles long! It is done by “Our Community” for “Our Community Children”, who may not have Christmas without this Wonderful Event……
Perhaps you are not an individual who needs this particular “benefit”, and that’s great!
However, Please have a Heart! Show your support for the Community (yours or not) and attend this wonderful event. WALK the Mile or Two (to the ball park), as though you were “Walkin” in “Their Shoes”! Then you will be Thankful that “Our Community” CARES!

It’s actually 2 miles from Crabbtree/Sunshine Hill to the ballpark.
