They'll be commissioner or councilman for a term or two, then ECUA, or tax assessor, etc. People just keep putting them in without a thought, and then gripe when the taxes go up or they can't get any help from the beloved politician; we wonder why these politicians get so arrogant-we create them and give them that opportunity. Ecua lowers our garbage service and then raises our rates. Our county commissioners don't understand among other things basic bid processes and vote to reopen sealed bids and use the power of their office to solicit contributions. I realize there was " not enough evidence to prosecute " however by statements made something happened. I guess name recognition good or bad will do the trick or maybe money. The results wouldn't have changed if they had represented District 5. That's the power of incumbency I wonder what it takes for an incumbent to be defeated in an election.
