NO votes on grant money with no strings attchaed and no pay back required….. HHHMMM Don’t think there is a good reason. Everyone is entilted to their opinion and vote. Maybe their opinion and vote isn’t for the best though. Just my thought.

Wonder if their were anyone who paid money for residents votes? Henry has his good points, don’t understand why everyone is putting him down. Maybe there is a reason for a “NO” Vote.

The important thing is not who funds a campaign but the fact the people or businesses are interested enough to get involved period. So many belly ache but don’t do anything to try to make the community better by giving back to it or being active in it. Council meetings should be full of business people and residents alike .. Speak out.. Be informed and work to make our town a better place.

If anyone knows EITHER of these people…they BOTH are anything but puppets. They are both intelligent, educated people in their own right and need no one to tell them what to do.

The Forum last Thursday night at the Century Ag building was very informative and showed that both candidates are very bright, outspoken and can think on their feet.

AGAIN, one councilperson’s vote Is Not a deal breaker! Far too much emphasis on one person… Kind of funny I think !

ANYWAY, the Important thing is to VOTE! If you vote, you earn the right to complain and go to council meetings-let the councilmembers hear the needs of the people.

Jacke Johnston is a fine family woman of God. She is a teacher at Byrneville Elementary where she organizes many of the school’s events. I think she serves on the board of directors. She is involved in many Century charities and events. She is chariperson of the Relay for Life and very involved in the library. She would give you the shirt of her back. She is a good woman with Century at heart.
