There is a large number of officers and ex officers, fire fighters, and EMS people that are involved in this hobby. We have members all over the United States, Europe, and even Japan that restores American, European and other countries Police cars. There is also a large following of Fire truck and Ambulance restorations. We have three involved in the hobby here locally at this time, and hopefully a few more in the near future. I have a car just like Jason's, a 1991 Crown Victoria, except with the 302 Cu.In. engine. It is an ex Escambia County Car, and is shown as such. There is also a 1950 Ford L.A. black and white Policecar in this area. Look for them at local carshows!

Awsome! These model cruisers are such a classic. will be patroling or just of for exibition? Would 2 get a picture. I am not from Century(but live here) but I am sure this is meaningful time for the town.

This is a pretty cool story, and a pretty cool thing.

With all the efforts to glorify some sad aspects of
our culture, to spend the time to restore a patrol
car is really a great idea. My complements on
the restoration, and the idea to do it.

Thanks to all who serve!

No Jason, I was a Deputy Sheriff. Sheriff Lowman put me up there in 1993 for 1 year when the Sheriffs Office patrolled in the city. If I am not mistaken there was only one of those Crown Vics that had that big motor in it. Good possibility that this is my old car. You have done a great job on it.
