And to a player his stats matter. With that said there is nothing wrong with being competitive and if we are mature as these two young men appear to be it will not and should not cause any kind of division. Only adults seem to be the ones who get bent out of shape. They have great leadership in their coaching staff and if they lose their competitiveness they will have no drive in them. Since two of the three (guess which two?) are incorrect, we just pulled the numbers from our story. No placing any blame at all -- it takes a lot of sort it all out on a Friday night. What matters most is the 39-36. That's the really big stat. In reference to the two comments below about the stats — it does appear that we along with at least two other media outlets all received different stats from Friday night’s game. Since two of the three (guess which two?) are incorrect, we just pulled the numbers from our story. No placing any blame at all — it takes a lot of sort it all out on a Friday night.
