hello I was one of the passangers in the accident. I just want you all to know that the EMS , Fire rescue , and the HP were very nice. you could not have asked for better people.. and the the hospital West Florida???? they were great as well. Thank you all for great care! everyone is fine and we are back in Tennessee safe and sound..

anydaynow, times has changed. Is it daylight savings yet? Maybe the deer got confused with all the things going on now in America. Could it have been a RainDeer? We haven’t had any for a while. You made my Day HaHaHA.

BeeGee- deer have poor depth perception and so they don’t have a very good ability to determine how close something is to them. If you have a problem with deer getting into your fields or garden, a double fencing of 4 ft. chicken wire hung 3 feet above the ground, and the 2 fences 2 feet apart they are foiled!

Not a problem, and thanks for the reply. Used to be you never heard of a deer leaping out into the road in the daytime, but over the last few years that has changed.

Three were laying for me a few nights ago. I avoided all but one, and it was unavoidable. Got two dents, a scratch, and had some deer hair on from of small Toyota. I think the deer lived. I am very thankful I was not injured. So sorry for the visitors. Glad it wasn’t worse.

Hope the injured person is okay. Deer are definately a problem in our area. Just try to watch out for them because they will dart out before you even realize they are around.

My wife saw a deer a few years back and came to a stop, as she began again the dear ran into the side of my new pick-up truck… justa saying…

It appears to me that the driver may not have even seen the deer….since it hit behind the driver. They can come out rather quickly,you know!!!

Heck, I guess I should have been using a toyota highlander all these years.We pay about 1200 to 1500 hundred dollars a year for hunting license,club memberships and the like. From the looks of the picture they will spend that much on a new door, not to mention the Dr bill. In all seriousnes I’m glad everyone is ok . I wonder if they kept the deer, probably not ,its a long drive back to Tennessee.
