If you want the locally owned and family operated companies to stay in business, those are the companies you need to support . Buy from the local folks , keep your money at home. When you buy from Cemex your money goes to Mexico. Buy American , your money stays here. You don't see these overseas companies giving back to the local community , for instance....go to the steer show the FFA (Future Farmers of America) puts on at the fair. You will never see these foreign companies there supporting our local kids , but you will see these American owned, local companies there supporting them. You have to support and buy from these local American owned companies for them to be able to stay in business.......Remember buy American, keep our money at HOME!!!!

Is this an easier way for Mexicians to take Americian jobs. I've been unemployed for awhile now and have had a very hard time finding work. I feel its because employers know they can hire illegals for less money. Just another way to keep Americans jobless!

REGARDING:
"I believe Sam Walton is turning over in his grave. He prided himself on having everything American Made. "

Actually, Sam Walton promised to offer American made products if they existed. He didn't offer exclusively Made in The USA but as well. Frequently people bought Chinese products but they had the choice. You still have a choice.

It really disturbs me when foreign countries move in and take over. The U.S. sent billions of dollars to foreign countries and guess what? We have more homeless, unemployment and a lot of people right here in this Country that go to bed hungry. I wish their was a law in place to stop foreigners from taking over our country. Let's face it, this didn't just start when Obama became the president, but that G.W. Bush mesed us up a long time ago. He had 8 years of putting this country down the drain.
When travelling over the world when you ask the merchants how much an item cost in Europe they want the Euro, not the American Dollar. Please look on the labels of your food and any other items we need to purchase. Most items are made in China. I believe Sam Walton is turning over in his grave. He prided himself on having everything American Made. Too bad his relatives thought other wise. Don't buy a can opener for sure. If it came from Walmart it was made in China and WalMart's prices are steadily climbing higher and higher. Local supermarkets please stay in business. I try to patronage hometown stores. Except one local grocery store which will remain nameless, but they have these people over a barrel. Their prices are high and if you buy ground chuck or ground beef it's black in the middle. Chickens have been sold spoiled. Let the buyer beware. The most important thing we can do is pray and pray constantly that things will get better and some born Americans can get a job. I'm always stuck with a Mexican that says he or she can't speak English. You need to go back home. The U.S. official language is English I do believe. Hire some of native Americans, born right here in this used to be great Country.

REGARDING:
" I do not imagine there will be reinvestment from the locals since the economy is in the toilet and not getting better. "

Maybe not, that's up to them, their property, but IF they wanted to do so, this would be one of the best times for getting in--assuming poor economy equates to lower prices for start-up.

If they decide they " the Mexicans" do not care if Americans know the real truth they will leave the name the way it is. If not it will simply become CEMEX which is widely known throughout Latin America.
Who would of thought of America being sold out so close to home. I do not imagine there will be reinvestment from the locals since the economy is in the toilet and not getting better. America is becoming the third world economy with so many South Americans getting a better education than most of the US on average and all the manufacturing jobs we all predicted to leave with NAFTA was and under estimate and we do not have a Republican or Democrat in office that will agree to that as they all laugh as us. Washington is the best fiction going. How hard is it to say what the desperate working class wants to hear. We all need to hear something and we want it to be something good. The truth is there is little good to tell America unless you are Alumni of the Ivy league schools.
Bill Gates is no longer the richest man. The richest man is from Mexico.

REGARDING:
"I’m saddened to see another American owned company being bought out by foreign investors."

on the other hand, those who sold out now have cash to start some new business and the ones who bought in have an incintive to make it work
