shoot… the only LEO called to the house when I was a kid would be the one taking in my mama for beating me senseless. There are some ridiculous kids these days…. I sure like seeing good news stories like the “see ya at the pole” etc.

These punks give the up and coming generation a bad name.

If I remember most of the stories that involve the police in Walnut Hill are calls to this area (cypress street) I was told when I moved here that cypress was the walnut Hill Ghetto. I am starting to belive that when kids are fighting and stab someone over Dirty dishes. I do not think a spanking would work for those kids they need to find some other discipline that will work as they are already prone to violence! Those kids parents need to do this for the kids, they deserve some shot at a non-violent future.

I would handle it this way: I’m going to bake fresh biscuits and fry chicken tonight, and you two get to watch the rest of us eat dinner. Then you get to wash the dishes and clean up the kitchen. If you both behave yourselves while doing your kitchen chores tonight, you both get to eat dinner with us tomorrow night, and that’s how it’s going to go. You both do your kitchen chores together and either be friendly to one another or be silent, then the next night you both get to eat dinner with us.
