Wow, we saw this truck this morning as I was taking my kids to school. My son commented about how it looked like a bowling pin. Sure hope the driver is going to be ok!

I would like to thank all the Emergency Responders as well as the Escambia County Sheriffs Dept. for their quick response this morning . We are so thankful that noone was injured in this accident, it could have been tragic. Also thanks to Steve Stanton for his heroic act to get the truck turned off & stopped. I would like to report that our driver was admitted to the hospital and is resting comfortably.

We actually saw this man turning on to Highway 4 at the Hwy 89 intersection in Jay this morning. Prayers to him and his family. Thankful this didn’t happen in Jay where there was lots of school traffic this morning.

There is an auto inflation/deflation device on the truck (notice the air hoses connected to the tires on the rear in the photo). The system was most likely damaged on the other side of the truck as it grated along the safety wall.

The tires are flat from traveling down the concrete guardrail. Both sides of the truck traveled down the guardrail.
