Reading the comments on this article really makes you wonder about this whole idea of elected officials. Normally when someone gets a new position people pat them on
the back and say job well done, you deserve it. We vote someone in to a position
to serve the needs of the community, and once in, its over. We don’t have any say
in anything. Kevin White, I hope you sleep well at night, actually I don’t. Look at
where listening to Wilson has gotten you, with the people who voted you in. Maybe the tourists think your something but we have other thoughts.

The county commissioners seem to have time to joke around about the dead but can’t seem to do ANYTHING WORTHWHILE for the north end of the county. Just exactly where is Kevin White from anyway?! And who is he supposed to represent, other than the people who pay him off?

I am glad to see that North Escambia.Com puts some humor into the news
reporting because these two elected officials are a joke. All answers requested
of these two individuals are answered by county engineers.

white once told someone that our street would never be paved..,..
not as long as he was commissioner.

Thought Kevin White was voted in to serve the people in the northern end of the
county. He seems joined at the hip w/Wilson Robertson, and we are on the bottom
of the pole to get things done. Take a trip down Crary Road, stop by anyone’s
home, ask how they feel. We eat dirt 24/7, people fly up and down this road and you
just sit and watch that hugh dust storm settling in on everything in your yard and
home. I’ve been stopping people and asking them to slow down. When we get a
rain, then you have mud everywhere. It sticks, and keeps building. Asked sheriff’s
deputies to just drive down here, but their answer is they only have two and this
whole end to patrol, makes our problems small. We signed our land over to the
county years ago, hasn’t even made it to the courthouse, let alone getting something
done with this road. We have to have our own satelite for internet on the computers,
but they boast of FREE, FAST, INTERNET, for the tourists in the south end. This is
the twentieh century, we sure don’t see it. They want our property tax, but don’t
expect anyting from them. Guess Kevin White needs more to do down there, because he sure isn’t doing it here.

Things need to change in our neck of the wood in this country but no one can get elected from the NORTH end of the county because people on 9-mile road have to vote on them and money speaks. the one with the most contributions get the job. We tried to change that by having someone up our way run for commissior but not enough votes up here. This should be changed and only voters from Cantonment to the AL state liine should be in District 5. Same o,same o
