to Anonymous: You are right. My High School boyfriend used to deal at the pole. I’m glad those days are behind me. It’s funny, but when I started getting my life together I stopped going to church as much too. I know that’s no excuse though.

When I was in high school, I can remember seeing all the druggies and sixteen-year-old alcoholics gathered at the Pole – if only to maintain a front, either for others or themselves ( self-deception is amazingly powerful ). Of course, immorality is not incompatible with Christianity ( as Christ amply showed ), but I had the feeling many of these kids were doing it out of sheer peer pressure, as opposed to any real desire to pray. Prayer shouldn’t be limited to a single ten-minute period, once a year . .

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to demonstrate their faith. I am concerned though, that the teachers at Ernest Ward were unable to attend. A mandatory faculty meeting was called that morning. . . . . .

I know in these times we hear a lot of “It’s the parents fault ” and I totaly agree to a point , but I think this just goes to show that most of us are doing a pretty dern good job.These kids took it upon there selves to stand up for God . I think that shows some good parenting . There are more of us than there is of them. Keep prayer in school . Thanks NE for doing the story ya’ll rock!!

I love how any topic other than site owners religious views are blocked. I will be telling others to block this website and not advertise them

I know the man that runs this website and I am sure that what you sent in had a little bit more than your beliefs in it. I myself have sent things in and Willaim would not put it on here. That is his right to do so. He calls me politicial incorrect most of the time and I usually am. I still like his website and can gurantee you that you don’t know enough people to hurt his website at all. In fact you probally can’t get anyone to block his website including yourself because you want to get your 2 cents worth in if you can. Even if it doesn’t mean anything to most of the people.
Now that I am through with huh. I would love to tell all of students that you are a great bunch of kids and we love all of you for what you are doing. I am an old hippie and still beleive that you have all the rights in this country to say what you want and to pray when you want to. You are the ones that will lead this great nation one day and may you always keep your feet on soild ground and keep God in our schools and our Country. May God bless each and every one of you for what you are doing and please don’t ever be ashamed of doing is right. I didn’t see my grandson out there but, Paw Paw hopes to see him in the next time these pics are made. Someone video this and put it on YOU TUBE everything else goes on there. Put something on there to show all of America that our childern and Grandchilder believe in God and Country.
