I only knew him as a customer but had lot of respect for him because he allways gave respect.I will miss him.

I remember Mr. Wilbur telling me that he spent the first hour of each morning reading the Bible. I could tell by the life he lived and the example he was to me and my children. Because I grew up in the Molino/Barrineau Park area, he was a key player in “Mayberry” as I knew it. Mr. Wilbur will be GREATLY missed but it will only be a short time for those of us who believe and we will see him again.

Mr Hendrix was the man who got me interested in mechanics, when we used to go there for parts, he always had the time nurture a childs inquisitive mind, no matter how silly the questions were. He seemed to have a natural love of family and community, and compassion for those less fortunate. There was a time when we needed an engine for our car, and did not have the money, Mr Hendrix repaired the car and allowed us to make payments. I have always admired him, and always will. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms Carolyn and the entire Hendrix family.
