I was trying to find Rusty on Facebook, and learned of his death:( I am so sorry for this loss. I met him in Bristol,TN quite awhile back. . .several years ago actually. We had a good time when he was here. I really enjoyed his company. He was alot of fun, and could cook great. . .lol! I really hate to hear about this loss. My friend had painted a redneck picture for him. It was the confederate flag – he loved it. Miss you my friend.

Well, I never heard about this when it happened. I just found out myself. If any of you knew Rusty, I fell in love with his old truck, Goldilocks when I was a kid staying at his Grandmother’s house(my cousin)… years later I bought one similar of my own. Well, RIP.

I am sorry of the loss of Rusty. We were friends when he was working in Bristol,Tn. I had lost contact with him for the past 3 years. I felt quite close to him when we were in contact. His smile and that silly grin will be greatly missed. Thoughts and Prayers go out to all the Family. May he be at peace walking on the Golden Streets with his Grandmother who i know he dearly loved. He will be missed deeply in my heart. God bless you all.

I met Rusty when I moved to Mcdavid in 1994. My wife, at the time ,Revelly just loved that Redneck part of Rusty.I moved away in 1997, and lost contact with Rusty, but I have never forgot about him. My wife and I met Rusty at 3 Runs. This was a favorite spot of his. We starting hanging out, and YES drinking!! OH how he loved his beer. Anyways, I am sure Rusty is living large about now!! I will always remember that Smile!! Terry Lee
