On June 9th there was a lengthy article in north escambia.com about a 48 million dollar traffic plan for North Escambia County which stated that a railroad crossing signal would be installed in fiscal year 2010-2011 at the crossing on Athur Brown Road near Corley Road in Walnut Hill. Total cost would be $251,000. So it appears that both places will get a signal. I agree with Robert. I use both crossings 10 or 15 times a week and the Arthur Brown Rd. crossing is the most dangerous by far because of the blocked view and having to drive parallel to the tracks before turning west.

Its a waste of money and resources go back to the old laws and stop at all railroad crossing, people today are just lazy and abuse road conditions.
