I to would use a handheld device to stop an intruder and you gotta love your animals they alert you and allow you to be prepared for the intruder. The last two years we had a neighbors door kicked in in broad daylight by two black males and a white female driving a white older cavalier type car (Didnt know it at the time they came speeding down my road obviously outta place, with another car chasing them) I've had potted plants on my poarch get thrown into the road while we were inside watching tv at 11pm. All the mailboxes have been beaten and sometimes left open. Someone cut all the heads of my sunflowers off before they even bloomed. I say please watch and know where your kids are because I can promise you I will protect my family, animals and property. Right now its petty pranks,and there have been several marked cars policing the area (which is sad). I have animals that alert myself as well as the neighbors know which barks are warnings but I also have hand held devices to stop a intruder! So why were they breaking in? So my guess is it was one of your stupid kids. Find out where your kid was at that time and then if it was one of them turn them in. IT's the right thing to do! Ok ppl
