If what “just a thought” is saying is true, then all this is basically a lost cause and waste of money. What good is a football field without a football team, be it little league, high school, college or pro.

The one thing that was great for this town was Blackcat football.Now our wonderful mayor and our great park managar wants to tear down the old football feild.This feild really means alot to some people of this town.I geuss to the wonderful mayor who probley never attended over a couple of game there it really has no meaning.As far as the sports complex it is embarrassing for some one out of town to even see it because most towns spend money on there complexes and they reall look like something. our complex if you see it as beiing one is not taken care of very well.The new addition does not even have parking it is a disgrace to even call it a complex.dis matling the old football feild and tearing down KAYO STANTON stadium is wrong.This stadium was named after KAYO for his wrok and dedication to the football program at Century high and it should always stand.The little football or CRAas I think it is called should have never moved to the new so called sports complex.but oh well as long as century has the mayor that it has and the park man that it has we will always have second class sports feilds

I’ve heard that Century isn’t going to have a league this year due to Jay starting one. Century doesn’t have enough kids. It’s sad Century is loosing all these kids to NWE, Jay, & Flomaton. All these so called “Presidents” over all these little leagues should get off there butt and step it up for Century to keep the kids they have and even gain some.

By the way does anyone know anything about sign up for the blackcats this year. Just got back from out of state and have not been able to find anything out. When are they supose to start practice.

IT is right off of highway 4 not far from the tracks. It is a football field. The other side is the baseball fields and all over there. It is really nice and they have been working on it for some time now.

Is the Mayor wanting to strip the lighst Off the football field? What about Relay for life etc. Stripping those lights I think is a big mistake. I am sure that new liighting would be much more energy efficient and save $$ but also would leave the football field in tact. It would be a disgrace to strip the football field!!

Besides, maybe at some point the school board will realize … Reopening the elementary school facility may be the smart thing to do as Ernest Ward is old, worn and seen its better day.
