to the ones who think century got the short stick, i can assure you it wasn’t because of the people in the walnut hill area. if they had had any political pull you would still have your schools and they would still have theirs. this deal was all mandated by the school officials in power at that time. the feelings of the majority of the people in this area, although made known to them, was totally ignored. i guess the officials in charge now are just trying to do the best they can with what they inherited and trying to do their best for all the kids. i sure hope so. i think moving the shed is the right thing to do. the real damage was done years ago.

i am a second year graduate of Northview. we didn’t like being put together with Century any more than they did being put with us. but what is done is done so we might as well all get over it these kids mostly didn’t know anything about EWHS or CHS just what there parents have told them.

The purpose was to benefit the schoolchildren of the county. This should do it better than the current situation.

I think this is a good move! The Century children lost their school and got moved to Bratt, atleast with the movement of this structure the children will still have use of the structure and it will not just be sitting at an empty school for nothing! For once I am glad to say… GOOD JOB ESCAMBIA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT!

Centuryman, do you honestly believe people in Walnut Hill or Bratt wanted those schools to be merged? If you think the answer is “yes” then you’re kidding yourself.

Why dont the county just take century over and move it all .Oh I for got they did that when they closed the schools.Started when they built the NEW HIGH SCHOOL THAT WAS SO MUCH BETTER.NOW WE HAVE LOST OUR ELEM. AND MIDDLE SCHOOL.mORE POLITICAL POWER IN THE WALNUT HILL AREA .

I doubt very many people in Bratt cared about this, most of the teachers that request these things don’t even live in Bratt.
