Commercial vehicles were involved in just 177 of the 4,419 crashes in Escambia County, with three fatalities. William,I just wanted to thank you for including this information in your fine article. We commercial drivers often take a bad rap in accident reporting. As a lifelong trucker with 34 years behind the wheel, I know that a few of my fellow drivers have given the rest of us a bad name, but it sure is refreshing to see a reporter give the actual facts in his writing. When a truck is involved in an accident it is often reported in a way that makes the truck driver look to be at fault whether or not he really is in the wrong. In reading your website every day I've noticed that you do not allow this type of thing and I commend you for that. Keep up the good work and may you enjoy much success.
