Don’t know what Nat has done lately for the community, but when he was manager of the Yankees, when one of the players were fined for some reason, he sent the money from the fine to the Century High School Athletic Department.

I wonder what good ol’ millionaire “Buck” has done for the community that so reveres him lately. Has he spent any time at the park named after him, bestowed a minor pittance of a contribution or conducted a baseball camp for the little league program in Century? Not that has been made public… it only seems that he was here and now is gone, never to return.
