Every time potential thieves think they see anyone get away with crime, they imagine it means THEY can get away with crime. Whenever they see people caught and brought to justice, potential criminals may imagine they could be caught and punished. (Quite often they just assume the other criminal was stupid and they are a genius, but you still have the criminal identified and potentially punished. You also know to check that one in case of any similar crimes in the future. You also know to suspect their known associates.) This is a good day. Good.
