I doubt the medical examiner who performed the autopsy knew him. I imagine the medical examiner knows how to perform autopsies. In a case like this, it would be best if the medical examiner did NOT know the person, just the science. That way the conclusions wouldn’t be affected by emotions and friendship or dislike (not that anyone seemed to dislike him, but in other cases that DOES happen sometimes).

Things happen we would have sworn could never happen. People do things we would have sworn they would never do.

Anyone who knew Clif knows just how ridiculous it is for anyone to say that he “committed suicide by cop”. He didn’t want to end his life nor did he have the problems so many keep saying he did.
I have known Clif for several years and had recently begun dating him. He just wasn’t that person. He was so generous and funny, kind and loving, compassionate and one of the best people I’ll ever have the pleasure and honor of knowing. I will miss him for the rest of my life.

Some times life becomes to much to handle and the person wants to die. They can’t bring them selves to do it so show a gun or just fire a shot and hope an officer will fire back and kill them. It is so sad for everyone that this happen and hope that they can all find peace. The officer will never totally get over having to fire the shot or shots he did and the Salter family will hurt for years to come. I know enough officers to know that this is something they never want to happen, but they also want to go home at the end of their shift. Please do not try to second guess this whole thing and just say a prayer for everyone involved.

If anyone knew Clif, you would know that he was not a dangerous man, Well like by everyone, Big Hearted & would do anything for anyone if he could a very good person. He loved everyone and was always very pleasant to be around, he would walk into the room and the room would fill with smiles. It’s very sad what happened and no one really knows how it got started but i hope that the Salter Family finds out…..(( R.I.P. Clif we love you and we miss you already ))

Wow! I passed this as it had just happened on my way back home from a vacay @ Perdido Key, and wasn’t sure what went down.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.
