REGARDING:
"It matters not to me whether the thug is armed with a gun or a pipewrench, it’s still robbery."

I agree, use of any weapon in commission of a crime should be dealt with strongly.

That said, I remember reading knives are used far more frequently in fights but guns are better at killing so even though there are more stabbings, there are more deaths due to gunshot wounds. I assume the same applies to robberies, far more likely to kill people robbing them with a gun than with most other weapons.

David thinking outlawing arms
would only work on people
who would obey the law in the first place
and they won't be committing crimes.
plus such laws are illegal
and even the Supreme Court agrees
so far

AARRRRRGGGG! said: "I believe any crime that is done with a fire arm should be taken to the extreme for sentencing."

It already is, it's the "10/20/Life" mandatory sentencing rule.
Personally, I think society focuses WAY too much on "evil guns" (insert sarcasm here). Guns aren't the problem, committing violent crimes are.

If more convienience store clerks were armed with their own guns, these thugs would be less likely to commit these crimes.

scaring the du nkin
out of working people really torcks me.

I hope the other one gets picked up and all three go away for the
rest of their natural life.

I believe any crime that is done with a fire arm should be taken
to the extreme for sentencing.

Ever had anyone point a gun at you.
I have.
I did nothing wrong. He was just a nut job, and I was in the
wrong place at the wrong time I guess, but it sure didn't look
that way when I went in.
You wlll never forget how that feels when you think your going
to die, right then, right now.
