I agree it takes more than one man to handle one big town. So people of america lets stick together and put away the bad guys thats makeing it hard for us to work without being scared or can’t even sit in our home with the doors unlock, scared of being raped or robbed.

I have no use for people who think it’s ok to scare the wits out of
working people and steal money.

There are jobs out there you just have to go find them and be willing
to work.

There is also a lot of help and support out there if your willing to
ask.

I hope this guy shows up at my place, I’m ready willing and able
to end his misery.

As a resident of Flomaton who CARES about what happens here I think that this is just another reminder of the state we are in. Few, if any jobs, extreme drug abuse. We need to pray for our community and as Evan said do anything & everything we can to help. Can anyone remember the days when if you knew who did something they shouldn’t, that you knew you had to tell someone, just because you knew it was the “right thing to do”? It’s just getting worse, people.

Evan: I’m with you on this. To many times people sit back and say “I don’t want to get involved” and so nothing happens. The officers need the support and help of the people in the town, not some negative comment. This is not a movie where the lawman has a show down in the middle of the street at high noon with the bad guy. HELP MAKE YOUR TOWN A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE.

The writer of the first comment about this story says “Jenkins first big cas as Police Chief, Let’s see if he can solve it?
As a newspaper writer for nearly 20 years I have discovered one thing. One police chief or officer can’t solve such a case alone. Putting that kind of pressure on him is unfair. It takes a collective effort of law enforcement agencies throughout the area, as well as help from the public, especially possible witnesses and anyone who may have “inside” information about the crime. Criminals like to brag and those who have the guts to report what they have been told to authorities should be proud that they have done the right thing.
So, give Chief Jenkins a break and help him solve this crime. It is the community’s responsibility, not just the police department’s, to fight criminal activity.
