Nothing to turn around? Excellent? Let us see how you define those…..

1. Bratt failed to meet AYP for 2009, which means learning gains were NOT achieved. 2010 numbers are not yet available.
2. Only 77% of Bratt 5th graders could do math at or above grade level.
3. Only 79% of Bratt 5th graders could read at or above grade level.
4. Only 63% of Bratt 5th graders learned science up to or above grade level.

In Bratt’s defense, these numbers are higher than the average for Escambia County. Of course, the student population is nowhere near as diverse as the average Escambia County school either. But to call those numbers excellent and say there is nothing to turn around is foolish. I don’t make up the statistics. I just call ‘em as I see ‘em.

Bratt will only grow stronger. We will keep going forward. We have nothing to turn around. We will have a great leader with Mrs. Hall. Bratt had a great leader with Mrs. Pomery. Can not get much better than that. Not one thing to turn around. GO BULL DOGS!!

I AGREE, THERE IS NOTHING TO BE ” TURNED AROUND QUOTE AT BRATT ” !!!! I HAVE HAD 3 CHILDREN THAT HAVE GONE THERE FOR YEARS AND HAS BEEN AN EXCELLENT SCHOOL !!! WISHING MRS.HALL A GREAT FUTURE AND WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL !!!!
