the comment about the doughnuts really old joke..and the comment about the officers harrassing the working man…if the working man would obey the law then maybe there would be no “harrassement”……and when someone breaks in to your house who will the “working” man call?

Way to go ECSO!! I will offer my yard for you to sit under the shade just to catch the speeders each day that I see come by. My child has almost gotten hit more then once getting off the bus, I have seen people pass of double lines where you could not see ahead. Sunday afternoon is the best time to be sitting on HWY 97 pass Gibson RD. there at the bottom of the hill. Again, feel free to sit in my yard any time. Hey I will even provide refreshments to you each and everyone just to see something stop these speeders. Hats off to you guys. Thanks for all you do for Molino.

For those that don’t want a ticket—-PLEASE RAISE YOUR RIGHT FOOT. Ref. the person going 10 miles lower than the speed limit — why not leave home a little early just in case you get behind them or have to wait while the roadway is cleared of a wreck. The kids are out of school and should not be in the road way any where but in truth they are. Is it worth a ticket to speed or hurt someone or yourself. I talked with a FHP officer who along with others were working the area of 29 and Molino Road. The posted speed is 55—they gave ticket for speeds of up to 88 mph.

im glad to see ESCO get involved. i drive to atmore everyday and there isnt one of those days that goes by i dont see the unmarked FHP trooper nailing people in between frans and the state line in atmore. its seems like they only patrol the 55mph areas and ignore the rest….

I agree too many people speed on 97, but on the other hand there have been many times i get behind some guy going 45 in the 55 zone. That can be pretty annoying… at least go the speed limit folks. Oh and if you see a line of 15 cars behind you please pull over and let them pass… dont hold people up.

Most of hwy. 97 is 55 mph but few are going slow enough to read the sign. Glad ECSO is giving this road some attention. Keep up the good work.
