Why is it when LEO do something that doesn’t involve shooting someone and killing them….they are the greatest, but if he would have shot this man and killed him; the LEO would have been rediceulled (?) to no end and the race card would have been pulled out once AGAIN….

Great job LEO for proving Escambia County residents wrong again….You are all very capable for doing YOUR job without so called violence.

prediction, our system WILL release this man back into society, because our system is stupid. Five minutes to comply with orders to get on ground? He should have been shot dead after 10 seconds. This sounds harsh until you realize someday soon you will read about the DEAD victims this garbage leaves in his wake. All because his kind can’t be dealt with properly the first time.

i cant imagine that a judge would let this violent fellow out anytime soon…a good mental eval will explain alot, im sure…..sounds like, amoung other things, he had an element of a “police suicide” event planned…thank the Lord, the police were well controlled in their responses to this unstable guy…good work!

This man is obviously a mental case. Although society would be better off if he got his death wish, I commend LEO for their patience after “He was given numerous orders by deputies to get down on the ground, but he failed to comply for at least five minutes.”

Good training, good judgement by the officers. Unfortunately next time this fool bonds out or is released, someone will probably get hurt.
