Well it would not be the paving crew who decides on what roads get done, they just make the bid on the job. So if you want to complain, make sure it is aimed at the right people. Yes there are many roads that need paying more than this road especially muscogee and jacks branch just to name a few..I guess it is a never ending battle, roads that need to be paved don’t get paved and the roads that don’t need it get repaved…Way to go county on using our tax money!!!

I am courious about the way they are paving Highway 97. They paved approximately 300 feet close to the school, skipped about one half mile, then paved a short distance, skipped, It took them 3 days to do a few hundred feet. Will they pave this way all the way to the Alabama line?

can the people that is paving in cantonment find out how the pavers in alabama
going to interstate paved that road in a lot shorter time and better then these
road crews we pay for bad roads 97 up to atmore does not need it more then
jack branch rd area to muscogee rd in front of international paper co.

I know that everyone who loves to speed will be thrilled when this little job is finished. What a bummer to have to slow down for construction. After this job is finished,we who try to stay within 5 miles of the limit will probably need to take out even more insurance as our lives will be in more danger.

Please everyone slow down in the work zones. Leave a little early and don’t get mad because of the delays. Not only will it “hurt” your pocket book or billfold if you are charges with speeding but your insurance company will get a piece of you on the next renewal. Plus the people working on the road don’t need to have to dodge you—plus they have been know to throw stuff by accident when they run for their lives.
