Isn't Justice strange? Maybe we should all rob the Sheriff's dept....
I was raped by someone that I lived with and Escambia County let him walk with a grin on their face, and I had no where to go and no one to turn to.
The law enforcement believed him I suppose.
If you have money in your pocket you can do anything.....
But it won't always be this way...I assure you...
Things will be set right one day...
It is just a matter of time.................................

Hmmm. There are a couple of things about this story that makes no sense.

1)with whom he was residing with in violation of a 12-year old restraining order
How long was he back in the home with her before this happened?

2)The victim escaped and ran to a neighbor’s house to call for help. She refused medical treatment.
What kind of medical condition(that requires a caregiver) will allow someone to run?

I am not a believer in men hitting women or men hitting women, but, to let someone you have had a restraining order back in after 12 years of the restraining order being in force.... not bright for sure! Just my opinion.

Big Al, you got it right on! I would be so far away they would never find me!

No one has the right to beat on a woman, especially one with a medical condition which requires a "Care Giver", but come on, she allowed him to move in with her, to care for her, and now he is under a $100,000 bond for violating a 12 year old restraining order. In the same county where a woman is released on a $25,000 bond for stealing 1.4 million dollars from the sheriff's department. Some how that doesn't seem right. If I had stolen $1.4 million, and got out on a $25,000 bond..... you could look for me in Bora Bora...

I hate a woman beater as much as the next person...but when the woman allows the man to move back in for this amount of time I feel it is ridiculous to charge him with contempt if you are not going to charge her...just my 2¢
