The Northview FFA Alumni did a great job of advertising the Bluegrass program. The low attendance was due, I think, to two factors: (a) It was on Easter weekend and (b) the weather forecast said rain that night, and all the farmers were rushing to plant corn that day before the rain. FFA Alumni president Angus Brewton, his wife Gayle, FFA sponsor Perry Byars, NorthEscambia.com's mystery man and others should be commended for their hard work.

Much funding was obtained from sponsors. If you have the printed program, note the ads in it, which identify the sponsors who deserve credit for their financial sponsorship of the program.

I went to the concert and it was great! As for as the advertisement, it was advertised everywhere, I even heard it on the radio announced. I would just like to see our community and school faculty be a little more supportive of different events at Northview. The FFA group was very polite and did a great job on putting this event on.

> Perhaps better Adverisment ?

How would they have advertised it better? It was on northescambia.com. I heard it several times on WXBM and cat country radio. They did like a 5 minute interview on Channel 3. It was in all of the papers around here. There were signs everywhere. All over Facebook. What else could they have done?

We really enjoyed the show!!!!! Only wish more had turned out. Marty and his band were excellent and I would go see them again. I don`t think this was advertised strong enough for the folks to know about it. When we got to the High School there was no markings as to where to go or park . Not everyone that went was from this area. We had to ask a few people in the ball field. Perhaps better Adverisment ??

At the end of Arthur Brown Rd., just north on Pineville, there is a little cemetary. At that location, a grave marker has a dobro etched on it. His name is Robert Lee Dagen. South on Pineville, at Dry Springs cemetary is a grave marked with the name of Bill Dagen. At Lathram's Chapel in Barrineau Park, there is another grave marked Ward Dagen. Bill is my Daddy, Robert , my brother and Ward, my uncle. They were all bluegrassers. This event brought back a lot of good memories. Thanks to the FFA, their sponsors, and the entertainers. Good show!!!!!!!!!! Janice Dagen Parker
