My husband had a wreck on this very road a few yrs back. his father was also killed on this road in a wreck. all were one vehicle wrecks. this road i VERY dark and could realy use some street lights! especally because there are so many turns that at night you may not see them in time!!! another major problem is it is a very rough dirt rd… the road gets ”ripples” in it after a few months of wear to it… yes the county pays for it to be grated but y not pave it??? they have been saying for yrs that they are but i havnt seen any effort!!!! it would be very easy to avoid most of these wrecks that happen on this rd…
1: street lights!!!
2: pave it!!!
3. STOP SPEEDING ON SUCH DANGEROUS RDS!!!!

Lucky for this person that they were not injured, hopefully Gulf Power has everyones electricity back up and running now. Whatever the case may be, I’m just glad to know that this person was not injured; on the other hand the truck wasn’t so lucky… Thanks for the photos Kristi.

Don’t be quick to judge..he could have been tired, coming home from a late shift and fell asleep at the wheel.. Then again, if he was imagining himself as a NASCAR driver at 12:05 a.m., then he got his just desserts!
