Thanks to all who supported the efforts of the Century Relay for Life Steering Committee; Susan Diamond, event chair, Nadine McCaw, Survivor chair, Tina Digmon, Luminaria Chair, Jacke’ Johnston and Candi Thorton who planned the activities and entertainment, Flo Cofield, our accountant, Dillon Diamond, children’s activities chair, and all the team captains who lead the fundraising efforts. A special thank-you is extended to Joe Thomas, our Honorary Chair, for representing cancer survivors and to Elaine Holk for sharing the story of her son’s battle with cancer in such a moving and life-changing way. Everyone who donates money, buys donuts they don’t want, “junk” they don’t need, raffle tickets they know won’t be winners helps us bring hope to cancer patients and their families and to those who will never have cancer because of the ACS efforts. Every lap walked at Relay honors survivors and loved ones lost. Thank you, Century Relayers.

We were so proud to be a part of this Relay For Life, Even though it was raining like cats and dogs (lol) outside; we were all surely having a wonderful time inside the Gym. Lots of people come to honor their loved ones who has survived cancer, fighting cancer and sadly the ones who have lost ones that had cancer.
We had a really good turnout. Alot of walkers walking to no ends through morning hours of Sunday morning, I of which made 200 lapse and have blisters on the bottom of my feet…
