Death is a great tragity no matter how it happens or how prepared we may be for it. My dad was a strong christian man and I am greatful to have had him as a father. He taught me many things in life but the most important thing of all is of the love of God and the glorious gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Praise God for men of faith that stand up for what they believe and are pursistent in presenting the gospel even when they know that they may be hated for it. I thank everyone for their prayers and support through all of this. 1 Thessalonisn 4:16-18 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Chrest will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall alwaysbe with the Lord. I've come close to hitting a few, but the nose of one down the rear quarter panel of our car wher she left a clean streak down the side was close enough for me. One was killed, and the lights on the right side of my truck were damaged. There was also blood, hair and dents on my truck, and I was not going fast, as I had just turned. Then, coming home about 1AM from Frisco City, after a Thanksgiving dinner and visit with family and friends, I was watching for deer, but was going about 50 mph on dark, dark 97A. My headlights were not adjusted properly, so I couldn't see very far ahead. Suddenly, the biggest deer I had ever seen on the road, appeared right in front of me. I had time, only to say one word, and I said, "JESUS!" If I told you what happened next you wouldn't believe me, and I had no witnesses. But, I am alive and unscathed.
