My neighbor stole a gravel truck once and tried to sell it to Sheriff Charlie Johnson. Charlie wouldn’t pay for it so he decided he could just have it.

You’re saying the gypsies did it? Well, okay, you’re saying the gypsies might have done it. I admit there’s a difference.

The danger is that when you point at one particular group without real information, you distract people from other possibilities

They always look things to take back up north and sell to get settled again.

I have known about them for about 20 years, but they did a piece on them
about 5 years ago on 20/20.

Hope they catch these theives soon, and can find the stolen items. yes I agree, people work hard to have what they have these days for sure, and for it to be stolen is not right

I had a Ford farm tractor (2310) stolen in Nov. from property south of Century on highway 29 in broad daylight as well. There was a witness who actually saw the tractor being pulled on a trailor heading north on 29.

Hopefully, the people responsible for the rash of heavy equipment thefts will be caught real soon. People and Business work hard for what they have to have it only snatched away by a thief.
