We have been distributing (and personally purchasing) the Angel Food for a couple of years up here in North Alabama. I am SO GLAD that it is now down there! It is a WONDERFUL ministry for a church to take on this and it is a blessing to those who receive the food as well!

It’s a double blessing for those who are on welfare and receive the EBT food stamp card because this helps them to get healthy good food CHEAPER than the grocery stores. We receive so many tearful thank yous that it makes it even more rewarding!

All the person wondering where and when has to do is go to the angel food ministry site and put in their zip code and it will pull up the closest sites to them. Most of the churchs that I deal with, all have numbers of church members to get in contact with, not numbers at the church, because they do not have phones at the churches. They are either cells or their home phone numbers. The person interested can also order on line with any of us as well, and not have to worry about getting with someone to pay, it can all be done over the internet.

I have had a hard time getting in touch with the sites to find out when they are accepting orders and money and when the deliveries will be made. The easiest way in the Alabama area is the indian reservation. The reason is because there is always an answer on the office telephone. Sometimes the church locations don’t return calls until days later or sometimes not at all!! My hat is off to the churches who handle it differently, but this has been my experience in Escambia Alabama.
If the church office would include, in their recorded message, the time and place to place orders and the date and time of pickup it would be wonderful!!
It is a good program if you can get the necessary information to the public.

I wasn’t aware of the details of this program, but it seems to be a good deal considering all you get in the different specials. People would spend a lot more money in the grocery store for the same food being offered in these specials. And being able to order online even makes it more convenient!!

I have taken advantage of this program and can attest that the quality and value are excellent.

I also will say that the people of Allen Memorial Methodist Church are a credit to the Lord, in the service they show to all who come to pick up their food. Thank you, and thank you also NW Florida for getting the word out! Good job!.
