Heath has my vote. I think a lot of change is called for in the current Sheriff’s office. There must be a reason why there is such a big turn around in that office. Jail time is a wonderful time for someone who has taken a wrong turn in life to have time to make a change in direction. Jail time will not do it, but if they are offered alternatives to the choices they have made in the past, then change may happen. As it is now, there is next to NO Bible Study there so therefore no positive direction for change. We need a county jail that will allow ministry to the inmates so they can leave the facility, a better person, parent, child and citizen of Escambia County Al!

We just met Heath and are very impressed with his experience and ideas. The Atmore area has be ignored for far too long, and Heath will change that. Its time for a positive change for our area, and to take out the trash. Heath is also very pro-gun, which is refreshing change from Grovers elitist attitudes on gun ownership. He also has the respect of many people in law enforcement that he has worked with, which is a great sign of things to come. Grover isn’t a bad guy, but we just can’t vote for another Democrat. Never again, its all Republican from now on.

I am a federal agent assigned to Pensacola, FL. I have known Heath Jackson for several years, having worked with him when he was assigned to the Drug Task Force in Alabama and I have worked with Heath extensively since he came to work in Escambia County, FL. Anytime I needed information or assistance while Heath was with the Drug Task Force, he was the person I reached out for. Heath’s knowledge of the people and the criminal element in Escambia County, AL was incredible and I, my agency and the local agencies in Florida relied heavily on Heath’s cooperation when working multi-jurisdictional investigations involving defendants who crossed county and state lines while engaging in their illegal activities. In the past three years that Heath has worked as a narcotics investigator in Escambia County, FL, I have worked many cases with Heath and continue to be impressed with his enthusiasm, professionalism and his total devotion to getting the job done and getting it done right. Many of those cases resulted in significant seizures of money, drugs, weapons and the arrests of not only local drug dealers, but also the arrest and successful prosecution of those dealers’ sources of supply in other states such as Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Georgia. Being a sheriff is not a Monday through Friday, 9 to 5 job, and Heath Jackson has the knowledge, the determination and the drive to get the job done. Escambia County, AL needs a sheriff who will be there to serve its citizens 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and who will be a positive example for his deputies. Heath Jackson is that man and he has my full support.

Having worked with Heath I can say with confidence that he will excell in this position. He has my vote! Heath will be a huge asset to the county.

For Heath to tackle the drug problem the county commissioners need to give the present deputies a raise, and come off of some more money to get a few more deputies out there on the streets. The present Sheriff has not addressed the large turnover rate. The starting pay is ridiculous and no potential officer is going to come into this agency and work for that kind of pay and be the only deputy working in the county. Presently only 2 deputies work in the county at a time. Apparently this is ok with the present Sheriff, and the citizens of Escambia County Alabama. It is just luck that no one has got hurt. Maybe Heath Jackson can get things turned around up here.

To Interested Voter: You can count on Jackson having penty of admin exprience – it takes a whole lot of documentation and a strong paper trail to make sure these crooks don’t have their ‘rights’ violated before they get convicted. Poor slime bags.

We all are faced with working with budgets that suck. But we do the job despite no matter how much tax cuts the politicians wanna take from us. Maybe if you’re an admin wizard you can step up and make a difference just like Heath Jackson will do.

He isn’t just a mouth piece – he is the real deal and will get my vote any day over the windbags that are sitting back pointing fingers at everyone but themselves.

Heath Jackson seems to have had a lot of experience and schooling for his age. I would be interested in knowing how long with each job and what kind of administrative experience he possesses.

I would hope that Heath will if fact change Escambia County Alabama and rid it of its drug problems. Education and enforcement would be a great start along with community help. I would cast my vote for Heath Jackson and offer my support in anyway possible. Good luck Heath.

Heath is exactly what Escambia, AL needs in the county. He has a passion for doing the right thing and bettering a community. He would probably take a pay cut becoming the Sheriff of Escambia County, AL and this just shows his passion for taking back and restoring order in his home county.
No incident or offense is too small or insignificant for Heath to listen and take action. I asked Heath how I could help him in the race and he said that he DID NOT WANT ANY money and just wanted me to get the word out and tell people how I felt and ask them for their support. You can bet that I am going to do that.
