in response to a couple of comments about me worrying about my son driving to school in the possible weather conditions…. I would drive my child to school but like most parents I have a job and cannot drive my children to school and I also worry about the busses they are not immune to accidents. I lost a 22 yr old close cousin ten years ago to a car accident that was weather related so yes I worry more than most but please don’t make light of a mother caring and worrying about her children.

If you’ll are worried about the kids driving, then drive em yourself & showem some techniques. How will they ever learn unless you teach them? & NO, i will not teach your kids how to drive on ice. Good luck!!!!

I am soooo excited i had to work the other day when it snowed and missed most of it !! I was soo upset becuase I have waited 14 yrs for it too SNOW But i hope that it snows like it did the other day!!!! I will be out it playing like a child lol

The chances of enough snow to cancel school look very small. If there are any changes, we’ll let you know as soon as the school districts announce.

Im very concerned about this, You would not believe the amount of ice that we saw in the last snowfall, this snowfall is going to be the same. I worry about my children driving to school, they are inexperienced drivers in snowy weather. They shouldnt be required to go to school, we are risking their lives in doing this, and im sure other parents are concerned about their childrens wellbeing as i am, i certainly do not want to see the loss of a life over this

I agree with Kim I too have a child that drives to Northview and I have concerns about the roads with the teens..

I guess Northview High will be open tomorrow unless things change? My son drives to school and the road conditions over the two bridges on hwy 4 concern me. I love seeing the snow but I worry more about road conditions when we are not used to them especially for the teen drivers!
