REGARDING:
"This is really wierd, what would the suspect be wanting $1.00 for from the victom? "

I don't really know, of course, but some people ask for money because people reach toward where they keep it.

It is a way to see where to grab.

For others, it is a way of throwing them off balance.

For others, it is an entry concept: all but the most hard hearted (like me, for instance) would spare a dollar. Then when the idea of giving is established, they raise the amount requested/demanded..

"why would the aunt take the victom to his house and then call 911 instead of just taking the victom to the hospital herself? "

Could be too upset to think straight.

Could think it wasn't all that serious then decide it might be and that trained professionals were needed.

Might be scared of the people of Jay, scared to go alone. Not that anybody should be, but that some are.

"Whats the law now for the use of a gun in a crime like this? Is it 20 years to life. I’m not sure,"

Me not know but it's armed robbery and battery and assault at least. My sixth grade teacher and principal once told me of a man who went into a store, came up to the cash register, saw the money, pulled out his hammer and caved in the cashier's face with the hammer, stole the entire till--maybe $40 although I think it was less, got 20 years for armed robbery.

The lady's face was messed up for the rest of her life.

I think he got off light.

Until I see some reason to do so, I am neither assuming a drug deal nor blaming the victim.

Nice one bill,
but it seems if you don't catch something someone who disagrees with
you starts calling you names. I usually pass on bothering to say something
back. lol I just try to keep the name calling down in here.

Good afternoon NOYB..that reminds me of a friend who offered a guy on the side of the road holding one of those signs some cigerettes once. The guy looked at him an said no thanks, not my brand..LOL..can you be picky while begging?

And that correct spelling on plausiable, i'm glade that some of you can proof read well enough to see. I never see my mistakes until it posted. But if people want correct spelling an grammer from me, well just pass me on my and read a what somebody else had to say. :)

Well, both ways sounds plausible to me, sorry if didn't spell that right.
The truth will come out.

My husband is out on a route everyday, and ppl in bad neighborhoods
all the time ask him for a cigerette and he gives them 10.
He is such a nice guy, but then I do the same myself, always feeling
a bit sorry for someone who is on the down.
Everyone has been there in their life at one time or another.
You don't know their story it may have been something out of their
control, or they may just be a lazy mooch. Who knows!

BUT, everytime my husband tells me a new story about one of
these ppl mooching, I am relieved that he wasn't killed for
the whole pack.

This incident could have been exactly as this guy reported it.
My husband has known a lot of his customers for years who
have asked him for things, however, he never ever pulls out
his wallet!!

Looking into my crystal ball.....here's what I see: Guy A buys some amount of drugs from Guy B. Guy A now knows that Guy B has a couple hundred bucks in his wallet. Guy A knows that Guy B got the money from slinging drugs and isn't likely to call the cops. Guy A smacks Guy B and takes the money.

Case closed.

Poor kid, loans a guy a dollar, the guy probably sees all the money the kid has then robs him? Sad that it has come to this. I am sure this kid was scared and was looking for his aunt to help him. That is scary! If it happened to be about a deal gone bad, seems like the guy with the gun would have shot him, not just hit him over the head with a gun. You know leave no witnesses, especially since they knew each other, just my humble opinion.
