Yes, you can take James road and bypass the road work! James road makes a horseshoe off hwy 31. Thats if csx doesn't block the tracks like they did yesterday, but once I called the number that they have on the crossing in which i have saved in my cell contacts, because of such a problem, they divided the train for traffic to pass. I did notify them of the detour here, so maybe it won't be a problem. You would think somebody besides a resident would have already notified them! Good luck, James Road traffic is moving along well, though! baba….

Is this a possible route...or Turn onto the southend of James Rd where the fire station is and go that way ?? Where exactly will they shut the traffic off...we need answers ...With weather permitted it says...could be April with the weather we are having the last 6 months... It is west of Nokomis Baptist Church and East of Perdido Creek. An alternative route if your heading westbound on 31 (assuming CSX cooperates) is to take James Road North (across from Stokely Plantation) and then come out on creekside by the old Mr. Green Jeans.
