We are delighted to finally be getting our FIRST thing in Molino. No money has been totally spent yet – the money was taken from the County and handed over to the School. Now we are working on a grant to work on the library – if gotten it would pay for it.

However, this Cultural center is for everyone and not just for Molino and it is in the middle of the county. Thanks to everyone who realizes this and wishes this area well.

What part of “budget cuts” and “severe recession” does the County Commission and School District NOT UNDERSTAND?

I am also interested in the subject of jobs. I went to Molino, and my grandma took me up there when I was only weeks old. She was a retired teacher. Please keep us up to date with job openings as well as future plans.

Oh that familiar hallway and auditorium.!…brings back precious memories of the one and only Molino Elementary School. May it always stand as a useful landmark to the honor and memory of the many who passed through its doors, walked its halls- students and faculty.

I beleive that with some thought from our district leader Kevin White could come up with a good use for the new carver school, maybe put him a office in where we could corrospond with him on the issues involving our town whats left of it. We will be monitoring the use oft the building closely.

Its a shame that the distriict paid all our money to build a new carver school and then closed it. don,t make any sense to me.Now will they put it to good use or give it away Nan

This is so neat! It’s good to see these old schools brought back to life.
Will there be any jobs available? If so where do we apply?

Now what are they going to do with the new library and new wing at the old Carver/Century school?
Something needs to be done to put it to use. Day Care, Job Training, Community Clubs. The place is in good condition.
