Wow so my boyfriend is in prison with this guy. Being molested when I was 5 just brought back so much when he asked me to see what this non human did. He is a predator. If course he fooled everyone how else to get away with the evil inside you. Hate towards him someone commented. Like feel sorry for him. I feel he should be given a drug that renders him helpless then violate him. Then do it again and again so when he sees that person violating him he knows what is going to happen but can’t do anything about it. He’s in his 80’s so perfect. Victims will still be suffering even after he’s long gone. No sympathy.

I know that everyone feels very strongly about people who abuse children. However…This man was a member of my church and I know his family personally. When all this came to light it was such a shock to everyone involved, especially his family and friends. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be punished, because he should be just like anyone else who has been charged of the same crimes. I’m just saying that some of these comments are so…hateful. Try to think about the fact that his whole family is suffering right now and though they probably feel anger towards him they still love him because he is still a part of their family. You can dislike his actions all you want but just please show some restraint out of respect for his family.

I am so sorry to hear of your childhood abuse from your father and that you’re mother did nothing about this. I agree, these girls will have to live with this truama the rest of their lives; and may god give them the strength to go on with their lives. As far as Posey’s charges and going to prison, I am sure that it will eventually get out in the prison… Thank god for your husband for calling investigators to yet another abuse situation…
Also… I’m sorry, but if your mom did nothing to protect you from such crime, then she should be just as much accountable for this crime too… Bless You.

ANGI……I did some research on my own father’s sentence and he has other charges pending. If he ever sees outside the gates of prison he will then be tried again in court for the other charges. This may or may not happen with child molestor POSEY. I would like to point out also that his crime will not be known to the other inmates unless a CO tells, which then that CO could loose their job because they are there to protect and serve just like any other LE. I can tell you that my father’s life in prison hasn’t been a bed of roses. He has had his ups and downs the past 11 years. Due to child molestor POSEY’S age he will more than likely end up at Union Correctional, which is where they house all male inmates older than 55.

The communities concern shouldn’t be towards POSEY, but rather the little young ladies that have to deal with this tragtic event for the rest of their lives. What we all should be doing is praying for their healing and able to overcome the trauma they have endured from the abuse from a sick individual. Christ will have his turn with him and it won’t be pretty unless he admits his sins and ask for forgiveness.

This kind of trauma lives on in a person for their entire life. The only thing we can do as survivors is forgive and press forward to lead the best life that we can. The key here is getting the RIGHT counseling early on in the trauma. I wasn’t able to obtain any type of help or counseling until I was old enough to get it on my own. Why? Because my mother has always told me from day one that I was old enough to know better. I was 8 years old and my mother did nothing about the abuse until my father was arrested on a different charge with another little girl and my husband called the investigator himself for me. At that time I was in my early twenties and was still being told I was old enough to know better.

Just know there is always more to the story than what everyone will hear. Each story is unique and has it’s own situation. I continue to pray for the little girl that was BRAVE enough to tell an adult. GOD BLESS U!

Good! He belongs locked up for a very long time (or worse). Unfortunately, the sentence for injury of the children he molested may last longer. I pray his victims get the support they need to move forward. I hope they are able to lead productive and happy lives in the future. I pray for complete healing…

This is what they need to do with all these kind if they don’t get death so they can’t hurt another child. I was a victim as a child .I was a foster mom for about two years .I went all through my life it not afecting me until I went to Foster Care classes and it hit me hard at that time .I cried for the first time about it. It is not true that if it happens to a person they will be like that I am 67 and have never touched a child in the wrong way it has made me care about a childs well being more then ever.

The mans gone for more than likely the rest of his natural life locked up. We have shot him, beat him with a skillet, ran over him with a bushhog, and no telling what else. He may or may not like his new family, but lets pray that the little one he abused overcomes and can move on with her life. Hopefully their was no one else that was to affraid to tell if he touched or hurt them
