I have cut grass for these people at this house. Her and her son and grandson was some of the nicest people I have ever met. I stood in that house that day and talked to her while she was cooking dinner and she showed me all her pictures on the walls and who they were and what they did. All of the pictures were her family and some of them were very, very, very old pictures. I don’t think she was in the best of health but she is not hurting and more. Bless her heart we will miss her on this side but she is so blessed not to have to deal with the pain and sickness and sorrow and death of this life. We’ll all see her again some day.

Thank you to local fire, EMS and LE officers. Aunt Verda Mae was a very special woman. She will be remembered lovingly and missed dearly.

I attended church with Ms. Verda Mae at Poplar Dell for many years. She was a sweet woman and was always so happy to be in church. Her church family will definitely miss her, but we know she is with her Savior now. May God bless and comfort her family during this tough time. May God also bless the firefighters who worked so hard this morning.

Thanks to your husband and the other firefighters many times they
pull these ppl out and save lots of lives.
Always focus on that.

This is so sad, i am so sorry for this families loss of mrs gandy; my prayers and heart goes out to her family. Thanks firefighters for all that you do.
