Good grief, Charlie Brown.
Oversight sounds like one of those high paid political gunslingers that Murzin has hired.
Oversight, just like Lucy, wants to pull the ball away right when Charlie gets to it.
Greg has represented us very well in the Panhandle.
He's conservative; he's anti-tax; he went to bat for us against that God-awful CSX bailout train for Orlando. We get the bill and they get our money - thanks Murzin for voting for that.
Greg voted against it and he was right.
Speaking of "right" how do you explain the NRA endorsement of Greg.
They don't support weenies or liberals.
Grow up and stay in Tallahassee in your corporate political hack office.

Oversight - why do you relentlessly continue to be so misinformed on this consolidation issue? Please answer me this: Has consolidation happened for Escambia County? Has it been approved by the BOCC? Have the people of Escambia County had a chance to vote on it yet? ALL OF THESE ANSWERS ARE NOOOOO!!!!

You for some reason have it out for Evers, who happens to be a good guy. Yes, as I have stated in responses to your ignorant blog posts before, as the Delegation Chair, it was Evers' responsibility to carry the consolidation proposal. THAT IS WHAT THE CHAIR OF THE DELEGATION DOES. This is the same proposal that has not been put up for a vote before the BOCC or the voters. And the bottom line is that you clearly have a thing for Murzin and a bone to pick with Evers. Is it because you are looking for someone to blame for consolidation - which may I remind you has not happened and doesn't look like it is going to happen? Because you keep blaming Evers for this when it was the fault of the entire delegation - now being chaired by Clay Ford - for pushing through the consolidation proposal.

Please Oversight. I understand the freedom of speech, but seriously...you need to get your facts together and stop spewing hate on Greg Evers for this. If you understood the process properly, and weren't so ignorant, you would be blaming the ENTIRE DELEGATION, and not just one person.

To address another ignorant point of yours, Greg did not "rake in thousands of dollars for the republican party". He has raised a significant amount of money for his campaign to spread the message about him, his ideals and what he stands for to the voters of Senate District 2. Although amassing a lot of money is not a deciding factor in an election (the votes are) being able to raise a good bit of coin shows that you are being supported. And Evers is truly being supported both by people of his current House District, his future Senate District, and businesses and individuals across the state that want him to be elected so that his voice can be heard. Running a campaign is not an inexpensive endeavor, and I applaud Greg for working so hard to gather the support that he has thus far.

On a different note, I am glad to see that Senate Leadership in Tallahassee has voiced their opinions and endorsed a true conservative to represent the people of Senate District 2. They have made a wise choice and I cannot wait to cast my vote in August for Greg Evers for Senate.

Proud legislative accomplishments include "consolidation" for voters in Escambia County, but OOPPS! - he left that off the list. Consolidated government is not a conservative move, and it looks and sounds alot like Obama's change. Greg Evers' ability to rake in thousands of dollars for the republican party is the sole reason he's the party's poster child. Sorry Greg - for your pittiful efforts in supporting consolidation, you earned my NO vote!
