Cost of doing business… but can any of the locals, saying they’d do it for less, certify the area as “environmentally safe?” Now, wonder what environmental surprises are in store for the county at the old Molino School. That’s right, the BOCC owns that and they’ll get their contractor of choice, Roads Incorporated, for job.

I would do it for a lot less money, almost free, just need a 18 wheeler to move the tank, and the county could let me borrow one…. I could dig up the tank, fill the hole with dirt and put the tank on a truck and bring it home. I would clean the tank and then use a cutting torch to cut out a end and weld a door in and then re burry the tank and use it as a storm shelter, sounds like a plan for me.

Never mind the EPA has a mandate for all facilities like this to be removed or cleaned, certified as safe and abandoned before the end of the month. Take a look around at all of the old gas staions in the area that have been forced to do the same thing. Think about it for a minute. How much money has been spent to do all of those and guess who is going to foot the bill in the end. We are with the price gouging of gas companies.

What about getting us a detail cost. I don’t live in your county but, we ALL are tax payers.
