Thank you to everyone who has so generously given. We have had such a great response and there is such an overwhelming need, that we will be continuing our donation drive for the next month. We will still be meeting tomorrow morning to send off our first shipment, with other dates as we need them. Again, thank you to those who have donated and please, if you have not, it is not too late to bring us your supplies.

Took my stuff to the church today to help with the kits, I gave 5 of each item listed. I hope these people will be ok, it is so sad at what has happened there. And sometimes we think we have it bad, just look around and I’m sure there’s others alot worse off…

I’m definitely helping with a monetary donation. Thank you all for your donations and I hope they make it there. There is one question that I have though, why the nail file or fingernail clippers? I really don’t see that as a priority, but maybe you know something that I don’t. I’m praying constantly for Haiti and the relief workers.

Anyone wishing to donate money to relief efforts can be assured that 100% of the money collected for UMCOR will go directly to Haiti relief. UMCOR is already on the ground in Haiti, working with the Methodist Church of Haiti. In fact, 3 of our UMCOR workers are currently missing in the wake of the earthquake.
