Brenda - you may send a check for $30.00 plus $5.00 postage and packaging (padded envelope) to the ASHS, P.O. Box 1002, Century 32535. Or, go to the Leach House Museum on 4th Street in the Historical Park in Century from 9-1 Monday - Friday. I believe the Escambia County Bank and Southern Treasures have them.

For additional information, call 251-765-2629 (me) or 850-256-3980 (jerry Fischer).

Reader, I think I can speak for Jerry Fischer in saying we are very glad you enjoyed it.

And, thank you for your suggestion. We had so many that were not known to us or to the person who submitted the picture for printing, that it may have been like asking for a needle in a haystack. So we chose to go with what we had.

I hope you enjoyed it enough and your dad got enough pleasure out of recalling the names we left out that you'll overlook our shortcomings. That was the main reason we did the book (besides trying to help the historical society's general fund) - we hoped people would gain pleasure from reliving old times.

One other thing we hope the book accomplishes: that the history that can be told in pictures will be around for a long time - that people 50 years from now can see what Uncle Henry or Aunt Josephine looked like when they were school children.

You guys did an awesome job we enjoyed reminiscing.
Suggestion, when compiling pictures and are unsure whom the people are they could advertise and ask for information on the picture. One group picture that had several question marks, my dad knew everyone of them.
