don’t shoot at a target if a friend is in the field of fire?

and people jump on you for mentioning such a thing

I knew of a man who went hunting with his estranged wife–or so he said. Supposedly she caught a goat and he shot it while she held it. He was very surprised when she died too. Some impolite souls questioned the accidental nature of the event. At least it halted the divorce proceedings

Sorry if i came off like a know it all or judgemental that wasn’t my intention. Just relaying some information that I’ve found to prove true over the years. I’ve had some close calls, some were my fault some weren’t either way i’m fortunate cause i was able to learn something. God bless the boys,I wish them only the best.

I hope all the boys involved are ok. Accidents just happen sometimes and then we learn from that. Hopefully Tanner will recover fully, and the three of them can get thier plan together and have successful hunts . Good Luck to all involved!

These boys did IDENTIFY their target and was not just shooting. It’s amazing that some people always act like this would never happen to them….

for the ones concerned – please continue to pray for these boys, because they are terrified over what has happened.

Thank goodness Tanner is going to be OK. These accidents happen every year. Everyone should be very careful where they are shooting!

I know accidents happen, but hunting accidents are absolutly preventable. If you are going to man drive (or any kind of hunting for that matter)sit down ahead of time and make a plan.Know where your partner is going to be and always,always identify your target before you shoot. It may cost you a shot at a deer every now and then but its better than taking a bad shot that you may regret the rest of your life.
