USNA is a college, actually one of the top colleges in the US . It is a military college where the graduates become officers in the military: Pilots, Platoon Commanders, SEALs, etc.

Zack Powers, an Atmore native and 1982 ECHS graduate, was also a Midshipman. He was USNA ‘86 and a pretty good Defensive Back. If memory serves me, Zack played on the Academy’s 150 lb. team.
