i believe that “op/ed” refers to the “opinion/editorial” section of the newspaper…years ago, i agreed to take the PNJ…..as they said that it would be delivered right to my door….as it turns out, they wouldnt go down the mile long dirt road to deliver it, rather it was placed into my mailbox on the main highway…consequently, i discontinued it….but, all for the best, im sure…its too much of a liberal newspaper for my taste…

I guess I’m just a hick from a small town with a newspaper that doen’t meet your expectations and with more crime than you find acceptable for a city the size of Pensacola. So, please help me out here, what does “PC” and “Op/Ed” mean?
EMD seems to know what “PC” means so he must be really smart too or maybe he moved here from somewhere else like you did. I don’t know, but, whatever “PC” is it must either be really bad or really hard to spell. Please let me know, so I can use it in the future an sound really cool like you’ ll do.

I am so glad to hear someone else who thinks that the PNJ is whacko for not putting descriptions of fugitives out, due to pc. It is so unbelievably ridiculous.

Robt, you should’ve stayed put, because crime, especially teen/youth crime, is totally out of control in the larger cities. I live in rural Alabama, and even we have experienced an increase in crime; certainly nothing like what you hear on the news or read in the papers/internet, (thank goodness!), but the criminals are getting younger by the minute and somehow they all seem to have guns. Well, except for the fool who tried to hold up the Flomaton Subway. . . .with his finger!!
