I wish they’d shut that railroad down permanently, take up all the tracks and make that into a bike trail. It’d be cool to be able to ride all the way to Pensacola on it…..

More than likely it was just a piece of farm equipment that got caught in the rail. I know a piece of farm equipment swept away our mailbox, post, flags as if it was never there
I know there is no comparison in weight but some of the young “farmers” do just keep on going. It’s as if the panic.

Surely the person that did this damage to the track reported the incident. This could have cost an engineer his life. Don’t be surprised if Gulf Coast begins to close all these passages. If so it will cause a lot of inconvenience to the local folks.
