It is great to hear from all who attended Northview’s Open House that they had a good experience. I am a 1997 graduate from Northview it is truly the best kept secret in the County. You feel so welcomed when you walk through the halls. Everyone is smiling, great teachers that will do all they can to help their students succeed, a terrific staff to back them, from administration, to athletics, and custodial workers. With this being my last year as Northview’s Army Recruiter, I’m sadden to also know that SrChf Coleman will be leaving as well. One of my biggest regrets when I attended Northview, was that I was unable to take part in NJROTC due to scheduling conflicts, but SrChf was still a very influential figure in my life while there and throughout my Army career. He has given me sound advice from a teacher’s, mentor’s, servicemen’s, Father’s, and Friend’s stand point.

SrChf. You are truly one in a million and I am so glad that Northview hit the lottery when they pulled you on board in August 1995 when the doors opened. I feel sorry for the next Guy/Gal to fill your shoes because just like the lines in the NonCommissioned Officers Creed of the Army state…

“…As a Noncommissioned Officer I realize I am a member of a time honored Corps, which is known as The Backbone of the Army…”

You Sir are the Backbone of Northview and will be sadly missed. I wish you all the best in your retirement, but do you think you would come out of retirement when my littles get to high school…. . Just kidding. Enjoy Sir and thanks for all you have done not only for me, but the school and the community.

Mrs. Weaver and Mr. Sherril. Congrats on the Open House and I truly agree with “parent’s” suggeston about a parents invite day and volunteers assisting teachers, faculty and students. You know you can always count on me, so please call or email with your request. I am here for you, your wonderful students, faculty and staff, and teachers…

I went to school at Northview from 99-03. Sir Chief was such a joy to see everyday in the hallway. He was my homeroom teacher my freshman year and made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Every time he saw me in the hallway he would greet me by name. Northview is very lucky to have such a wonderful man working for them. I wish you the best, Senior Chief. Thanks for all you have done for the students and teachers at Northview.

The Band Boosters and the Quarterback Club are both selling spirit items this year and we would love to have your support. we enjoyed the vist to northview. My wife and I have a grandchild that attends and we enjoyed seeing the school. we also bought a school t shirt so we could show our pride. we would like to get a sweatshirt or maby some of the other items they had for sale. does the school sell these items to the public during the day? we did not know they were going to be selling things otherwise we would have brought more money. thanks for a nice visit.

Sure wish I could have been there for the open house, BUT my daughter had a volley ball away game scheduled at the same time, I had to choose one or the other. Wish the school could schedule these activities a little better! Am I asking too much?
